Welcome to AudioToon (the "Platform"). The Platform is provided by Mangatoon HK Limited ("we", "us"), and we promise to respect and protect your privacy.
This notice explains what personal information we collect when you subscribe or buy titles on our website, how we use and share it, and your rights. For everything else, our AudioToon Privacy Policy applies. Please read it together with our Terms of Purchase. Please do not use the Platform if you do not agree with this Privacy Policy.

• Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile picture as authorized by you.
• Guest account. If you subscribe or buy without signing in, we create a guest account identified by a random identifier stored in your browser.
• Communications. Information you send us when you contact support.
Subscriptions and purchases are paid through PayPal or the local payment method you choose (such as e-wallets, QR payments or bank transfers), processed by our payment service providers. Your card, PayPal, e-wallet or bank details are collected and processed directly by the payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number or payment credentials. We receive and keep the information needed to manage your subscription, such as the plan or title, amount, currency, payment and subscription identifiers, and payment and renewal status.
• Device and log information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers stored in cookies, the date and time of requests and the referring website.
• Activity: titles and episodes you listen to, read or watch, words you search for and your listening, reading and watching history, which we use to provide the service and recommend content you might like.
• Approximate location: the country or region derived from your IP address. We do not collect GPS or precise location.
We use cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary for the Platform to work: to keep you signed in or keep your guest account, to remember your subscription status, to protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and to remember your listening, reading and watching history.
We also use Google Analytics, which sets analytics cookies, to understand how visitors use the Platform (for example, pages viewed and time spent) so we can improve it. Google processes this information on our behalf; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. Some pages may show ads; see our AudioToon Privacy Policy for details.
• Providing the service: to show content, unlock episodes for active subscriptions and purchases, process subscriptions, renewals, cancellations and refunds, and keep your listening, reading and watching history.
• Maintaining and improving the service: to ensure normal operation, troubleshoot problems and understand how the Platform is used.
• Personalization: to recommend content based on what you have read.
• Communication: to respond to your requests and send service notices, such as changes to these policies or to your subscription.
• Security and fraud prevention: to detect, prevent and respond to fraud, payment abuse, security risks and technical issues that may harm AudioToon, our users or the public.
We will seek your prior consent before using your information for purposes not covered by this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following cases:
• Service providers: with payment processors (PayPal and Codapay), Google (for sign-in and Google Analytics), and our affiliated companies and hosting providers that process information for us in accordance with our instructions and appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
• With your consent.
• For legal reasons: when we have good reason to believe it is necessary to meet applicable laws, regulations, legal procedures or mandatory government requests; to enforce our Terms; to detect or prevent fraud, security or technical problems; or to protect the rights, property or safety of AudioToon, our users or the public.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information and notify affected users before it becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We keep your personal information for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the service. Payment and subscription records are kept as long as required by tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). To exercise these rights, contact support@mangatoon.mobi; we will need to verify your identity before responding. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can cancel automatic renewal of your subscription at any time on the My Account page.
The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have collected data of a child under 13, please contact support@mangatoon.mobi and we will delete it.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and notify you of significant changes. Without your explicit consent, we will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy.
